We are looking for a qualified and experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5-10 years of relevant experience, preferably in the FMCG industry. The candidate should have strong expertise in general accounting processes, balance sheet finalization, financial reporting, taxation, compliance, reconciliations, and audit support. Proficiency in SAP, Advanced Excel, and Tally is essential.

The ideal candidate should be capable of managing end-to-end accounting operations, preparing financial statements, handling statutory compliance, and supporting management with accurate MIS and financial analysis. Good communication skills, a presentable personality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced business environment are required.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end general accounting operations and ensure accuracy in books of accounts
• Prepare and finalize balance sheet, profit & loss account, and other financial statements
• Manage month-end and year-end closing activities
• Maintain general ledger, journal entries, provisions, and accruals
• Perform bank reconciliation, ledger reconciliation, and account scrutiny
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inter-company reconciliations
• Prepare MIS reports, financial reports, and management review statements
• Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial planning
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, taxation, and other statutory requirements
• Coordinate and support statutory audits, internal audits, and compliance processes
• Work extensively on SAP, Tally, and Advanced Excel for accounting and reporting
• Monitor cash flow, financial controls, and process improvements
• Coordinate with internal teams for smooth finance and accounting operations
• Assist management in financial decision-making through accurate reporting and analysisRole & responsibilities

Preferred candidate profile

Professional Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 4to 5 years of relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of balance sheet management and all general accounting processes
• Hands-on experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, audits, and statutory compliance
• Good working knowledge of GST, TDS, taxation, and related finance operations
• Proficient in SAP, Tally, and Advanced Excel
• Strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, formulas, and MIS reporting
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams
• Presentable, professional, and detail-oriented
