Job Description
Role & responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
1. LLE Strategy & Planning
- Identify long lead items early in project lifecycle.
- Develop global procurement timelines aligned with design and execution phases.
- Secure manufacturing slots with international OEMs.
2. Equipment Procurement
Manage sourcing of critical systems:
- UPS systems
- Diesel generators (DG)
- Chillers & cooling systems
- Transformers
- MV/LV switchgear
- BMS / DCIM systems
- Modular or prefabricated solutions
3. OEM & Supplier Management
- Engage directly with global OEMs and regional partners.
- Manage supplier capacity, production schedules, and commitments.
- Build strategic partnerships with key equipment providers.
4. Commercial & Contracting
- Lead high-value global negotiations.
- Structure contracts with milestone-based payments and delivery safeguards.
- Ensure robust warranty, SLA, and penalty clauses.
5. Supply Chain & Expediting
- Monitor manufacturing progress across international facilities.
- Coordinate Factory production
- Manage global logistics, shipping, and customs coordination.
6. Risk Management
- Identify risks such as supply shortages, geopolitical disruptions, and logistics delays.
- Implement mitigation strategies including dual sourcing and early procurement.
7. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work with global engineering, design, and project teams.
- Ensure technical compliance and readiness for commissioning.

- Malaysia

Travel Requirement:
Frequent international travel required for OEM meetings, factory inspections, and project coordination.
Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelors in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical preferred)
- 15–20 years of experience in capital equipment procurement
- Strong experience with global OEMs and international sourcing
- Exposure to data centres / EPC / mission-critical infrastructure
