Job Description

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and treat patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, valvular heart disease, and congenital heart defects.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients based on thorough assessment of medical history, physical examination, laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic procedures.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including cardiology nurses, radiologists, cardiac surgeons, and rehabilitation specialists to provide holistic care for patients with cardiovascular disorders.
Educate patients and their families about cardiac conditions, treatment options, potential risks and benefits of interventions, and strategies for lifestyle modification and cardiac rehabilitation.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research activities aimed at advancing cardiology care and improving patient outcomes.
Stay abreast of the latest developments in cardiology research, diagnostic techniques, and treatment modalities to provide evidence-based care.
Adhere to regulatory standards, protocols, and best practices in cardiology practice to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
Uphold ethical and professional standards in all aspects of cardiology practice, including patient confidentiality and informed consent.
