CAD Designer

Job Description

We are looking for a highly creative CAD Designer to design 2D & 3D models for new product development process
In this position, you will be responsible for developing the 3D designs for the firm s upcoming jewellery collections
To be successful in this position, you ll be a self-starter, have excellent organizational, interpersonal, and decision-making skills and show amazing attention to details
You will join a fun and friendly environment, where everyone loves what they do and focuses on delivering immaculate work that breaks new ground and engages customers

Key Responsibilities Include:

Attend preliminary meetings with the client to understand the project specifications and scope.
Work with Product Development team members to establish a timeline and budget for the design.
Use design software (Rhino/Matrix) to produce 2D and/or 3D designs, depending on the complexity of the project.
Research to identify the best materials for CAM & Sample modelling.
Notify project managers of the design s progress and when the designs are complete.
Get feedback from the clients and respective stakeholders and revise designs as needed.
Creating high end unique and exclusive traditional and contemporary designs.
Ability to quickly understand needs of buyers and create customised designs.

Skills / Competencies

Creativity
HSC passed/ Diploma/ Certification in designing or equivalent experience in High end Jewellery industry for US/Overseas market
Collaborative spirit.
Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
Highly creative and excellent analytical abilities.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Out of the box thinking.
Min 4 years of work experience as a Sr. CAD Designer.
Min 2 years of work experience as a Jr. CAD Designer.
