Job Purpose:

Purchase team at Aurangabad is responsible for managing and optimizing procurement operations for local and global requirements for different products in the range of 1 to 25 MW four stroke engines. The role involves supplier evaluation, cost negotiation, contract management, and ensuring timely delivery of quality materials.

Key Tasks &
Responsibilities

- Develop and implement procurement strategies in line with business objectives to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement for operational and strategic development of components in Castings and Forging Commodity.

- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely deliveries and reliability.

- Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement and ensure resilient supply chain.

- Responsible for meeting function specific KPIs, efficiency and quality metrics.

- Implement cost-saving initiatives and supplier performance improvement strategies.

- Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and delivery schedules while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

- Ensuring capacity planning and forecasting for different disciplines and optimum utilization of capacity.

- Ensure all procurement activities align with industry regulations, company policies, and contractual obligations.

- Continuously enhance procurement and supply chain processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

- Manage the procurement of components and services related to 4S Engines.

- Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with suppliers to ensure

- Work closely with the Quality and Engineering teams to ensure technical specifications and quality standards.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast procurement needs and manage inventory levels.

- Provide periodic status reports for management and stakeholders.

- Support the Global Sourcing Requirements from India by Developing the sources & ensuring smooth Supplies to Everllence Global Locations.
