Job Description
Role & responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Identify potential customers through cold calling, networking, referrals, and digital channels.
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
- Research target industries and prospective clients.
2. Product Demonstration & Consultation
- Understand client business requirements.
- Conduct product presentations and live software demos.
- Position software solutions based on customer pain points.
- Work closely with technical teams for solution alignment.
3. Sales Conversion
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and commercial offers.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
4. Account Management
- Build long-term relationships with customers.
- Coordinate onboarding and handover to implementation teams.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
5. Market Intelligence
- Track competitor offerings and pricing trends.
- Provide feedback to product and marketing teams.
6. CRM & Reporting
- Update leads and opportunities in CRM.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and reports.
Preferred candidate profile
- Any Graduate (B.Com / BBA / B.Sc / BE/ BTech preferred).
- Experience in software/SaaS/ERP sales (preferred)
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand business workflows and processes.
- Negotiation and closing skills.
- Familiarity with CRM tools.
- Proficiency in Office 365/Google tools and familiarity with ticketing tools preferred.
