Job Overview

Octagon Enterprises is seeking a dynamic and result-driven Business Development Executive (BDE) with experience in the tower crane/construction equipment industry. The candidate will be responsible for generating leads, visiting clients, and securing rental orders for tower cranes.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the construction and infrastructure sector
• Conduct regular client visits to construction sites, builders, contractors, and developers
• Promote and market Octagon Enterprises' tower crane rental services
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
• Understand client requirements and recommend suitable crane solutions
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and close rental deals
• Coordinate with operations team for smooth execution of orders
• Maintain a database of prospective and existing clients
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
• Track market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming projects

Requirements

• Proven experience in tower crane / heavy equipment rental industry (preferred)
• Strong understanding of tower crane operations, specifications, and applications
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings and site visits
• Ability to generate leads and convert them into business
• Self-motivated, target-oriented, and proactive approach
• Basic knowledge of MS Office / CRM tools

Qualification

• Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
• Diploma/experience in construction or mechanical field is an added advantage

Experience

• Minimum 2-6 years in B2B sales / business development
• Experience in construction equipment rental or tower crane industry is highly preferred
