Job Description
Job Summary
We are hiring an Accounts Executive Client Billing & Weight Logic who understands shipment pricing models, weight logic (dead weight vs volumetric weight), slab-based rate cards, and client revenue generation in a 4PL/logistics setup.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate client invoices as per agreed commercial contracts.
- Apply correct weight logic:
- Dead Weight vs Volumetric Weight
- Slab rate application
- Zone-based pricing
- Validate shipment data before invoice generation
- Ensure correct billing for Forward, RTO, NDR, and COD shipments.
- Identify margin leakage due to incorrect weight or slab mapping.
- Calculate shipment-level margins (Client Revenue vs Courier Cost).
- Identify margin leakage due to incorrect weight or slab mapping.
- Coordinate with Operations & Tech for shipment discrepancies.
- Support month-end revenue reporting.
- Ensure GST-compliant invoicing.
Preferred candidate profile
Mandatory Skills
- Experience in 4PL / Logistics / Courier Aggregator industry
- Must have strong understanding of:
- Volumetric weight formula
- Zone-based pricing models
- Slab rate billing
- Forward & RTO billing logic
- Experience generating client invoices
- Strong Excel proficiency (Pivot Tables, reconciliation sheets)
- Understanding of GST in logistics billing
Preferred
- Experience working with D2C brands
- Exposure to high shipment volumes
- Ability to interpret commercial contracts
