Role:  Azure Senior Support Engineer
Experience:  5 -8 Years

Location: Mumbai and Bangalore

Job Description:

• Support experience in IaaS, Compute, Networking, Storage, and Databases.
• Conceptual understanding of Security and Containerization.
• Knowledge of IT Infrastructure Services and On-Premises environments.
• Support and manage robust cloud architectures using Azure services to ensure scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Manage configuration and optimization of Azure resources, including Azure VM, Blob Storage, File Storage, Managed Disk, RDS, and Serverless Architectures.
• Manage complex Azure networking setups, including Virtual Networks, DNS, Load Balancers, and VWAN, ensuring secure and efficient connectivity between on-premises and cloud environments.
• Ensure the implementation of security best practices across cloud environments by managing Azure AD policies, encryption strategies, and compliance frameworks.
• Monitor and analyze cloud performance metrics using Azure Monitor and other tools.
• Maintain detailed documentation of cloud architectures, processes, and configurations.
• Understanding of ITIL Service Management, Event Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, CMDB, etc.
• Responsible for automating the setup, configuration, and maintenance of complex infrastructure environments using automation tools.
• Work in Terraform, including setup of Terraform environments, developing TF scripts, and importing existing environments.
• Hands-on experience of at least 2 years in IaC tools such as Terraform, Bicep, and ARM.
• Support Azure Backup job monitoring, restore requests, and runbook execution.
• Knowledge of IAM and Observability Tools.

Mandatory Leaf Skills For Hiring:

• Azure Infrastructure Services Stack: Azure VM, Functions, Blob Storage, File Storage, Virtual Network, DNS, Managed Disk, etc.
• Windows and Linux Administration.
• Azure Monitor.
• Azure Resource Manager (ARM).
• Terraform.
• PowerShell.
• Bicep.

Good to Have:

• Scripting: Python, YAML, and Chef.
• Infrastructure: VMware, Azure, VPN, VWAN, etc.
• Ansible Playbook Creation.
• DevOps: Azure DevOps, Azure Boards, Azure Test Plans, Azure DevOps CLI, and AKS.
