Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic Audit & Assurance professional with 25 years of experience in Statutory Audits, including exposure to Ind AS, CARO reporting, and listed clients.
Key Responsibilities
1. Statutory Audit Execution
- Conduct statutory audits in accordance with:
- Companies Act, 2013
- Standards on Auditing (SAs)
- Applicable accounting standards (Ind AS / AS)
- Plan and execute audit procedures, including risk assessment and internal control evaluation.
- Preparation and review of financial statements.
2. Ind AS & Financial Reporting
- Hands-on experience in implementation and application of Ind AS.
- Review financial statements for compliance with Ind AS.
- Assist clients in complex accounting issues such as:
- Revenue recognition
- Financial instruments
- Consolidation
- Fair valuation
3. CARO Reporting
- Draft and finalize CARO reports as per Companies (Auditors Report) Order.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements.
4. Listed Clients Handling
- Exposure to audits of listed entities.
- Understanding of SEBI regulations and corporate governance requirements.
- Coordination with client finance teams and internal auditors.
5. Team Handling & Client Coordination
- Lead audit teams and allocate work effectively.
- Review work of articles and junior staff.
- Ensure timely completion of audit assignments.
- Direct interaction with client management.
6. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain proper audit documentation as per SAs.
- Ensure quality control and adherence to firm policies.
- Assist in peer review / internal quality reviews.
