Job Description
Key Responsibilities :
Teaching :
Teaching :
- Deliver lectures, laboratory sessions, and tutorials in physiology to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and assessments aligned with current trends and advancements in physiology.
- Mentor and guide students in academic projects, dissertations, and career development.
- Use innovative teaching methodologies, including technology-enhanced learning and simulation-based approaches.
Research :
- Conduct original research in physiology, contributing to the institutionesearch portfolio.
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at national and international conferences.
- Collaborate with other faculty members and institutions on interdisciplinary research projects.
- Seek research funding by writing and submitting grant proposals.
Service and Administration :
- Participate in departmental and institutional meetings, committees, and events.
- Assist in curriculum development and accreditation processes.
- Contribute to outreach programs and student recruitment initiatives.
- Engage in community service related to the discipline of physiology.
Requirements Qualifications :

Educational Requirements :
- MD/MBBS with specialization in Physiology or a related field, or
- PhD in Physiology or an equivalent discipline from a recognized institution.
Experience :
- Prior teaching experience in physiology at a recognized medical or academic institution is preferred.
- Evidence of research activity and publications in indexed journals is highly desirable.
Skills :
- Strong knowledge of physiology concepts and their clinical applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in educational technologies and laboratory teaching tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary academic environment.
