Position: Associate Professor

Job Summary:

The Associate Professor will be responsible for teaching, research, and mentoring undergraduate (B. Tech) students. This position requires a dynamic and experienced academic professional capable of delivering quality education and contributing to the continuous development of the department. The Associate Professor will collaborate with faculty to enhance curriculum, conduct research, and guide students in their academic and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Teaching & Mentoring:

• Deliver high-quality lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions for B. Tech courses.
• Develop course materials, curriculum, and assessments.
• Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students, including supervision of undergraduate projects.
• Use innovative teaching methodologies and technologies to enhance student learning.

1. Research & Development:

• Lead and contribute to research projects and publications in relevant technical fields.
• Secure research grants and engage in funded research activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues and industry experts for research initiatives and development.
• Present research findings at conferences and seminars.

1. Curriculum & Program Development:

• Participate in curriculum design and review, ensuring alignment with industry standards and emerging technologies.
• Initiate and participate in academic programs, workshops, and seminars.

1. Administrative & Leadership Roles:

• Serve on departmental committees and take part in academic administration tasks.
• Contribute to accreditation processes and quality assurance in education delivery.
• Engage in faculty development programs and professional growth opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in [relevant field of engineering/technology].
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in teaching/research at the university level, including at least 4 years at the Assistant Professor level.
• Proven track record of publications in high-impact journals and/or research contributions.
• Demonstrated leadership in research projects or academic administration.
