Job Description

Jio Institute is currently seeking applications for a faculty role in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science. We aim to recruit educators and researchers who are deeply committed to both teaching and advancing research in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science. The chosen candidate will be instrumental in enriching our academic programs and spearheading research efforts that synergize with the strategic vision of the Institute. Associate Professor:

Jio Institute invites applications for Artificial Intelligence & Data Science in the following disciplines:

Machine Learning
Deep Learning
Natural Language Processing
Computer Vision
Bigdata Engineering

Faculty are expected to establish a robust research program, guide and mentor students and postdoctoral scholars, secure external funding, conduct research, and publish in leading journals and conference proceedings.

They are expected to develop and teach undergraduate and postgraduate classes and participate in service activities at the Institute and relevant professional societies and organizations.

Qualifications:
A Doctorate in a relevant discipline from reputed Indian or global institution, followed by post doctoral work in a world class university - also significant accomplishments in breakthrough research and innovation.
Peer recognition in terms of top awards and honours, election to top academies including a significant international component will be given weightage.
Passion for transformative teaching and thoughtful mentoring of students / scholars.
