Role & responsibilities

Job Summary:

The MIS & Analytics Executive will be responsible for managing content-related data, generating accurate MIS reports, and providing actionable insights to support business decisions. The role involves close coordination with Content, Finance, and Sales teams, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to present data clearly through dashboards and presentations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, maintain, and analyze daily, weekly and monthly MIS reports related to content performance, productivity, costs, and revenue impact.
• Coordinate closely with the Content team to capture requirements, validate data, and ensure accurate reporting.
• Liaise with Finance for cost analysis, budgeting support, billing data, and variance analysis related to content operations.
• Work with Sales teams to provide content performance insights, client-specific reports, and support business reviews.
• Develop and automate reports using Advanced Excel (pivot tables, power queries, macros, dashboards).
• Create clear, concise, and visually impactful PowerPoint presentations for management reviews, monthly business reviews (MBRs), and leadership updates.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of reports.
• Identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities and share insights with stakeholders.
• Maintain documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for MIS processes.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong proficiency in Advanced Excel (formulas, pivots, dashboards, automation).
• Excellent skills in PowerPoint for senior management presentations.
• Good understanding of MIS reporting, data analysis, and performance tracking.
• Strong coordination and communication skills to work with Content, Finance, and Sales teams.
• High attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple reports.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Management, Analytics, or a related field.
• Prior experience in MIS, analytics, or reporting roles (content/media/digital background preferred).
• Knowledge of BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) is an added advantage.
