Job Description
(a) To provide email clarification to queries raised by clients through mail or phone. Clarification shall be sent after seeking approval from the partner, on the same day and in case of complicated queries, it shall be sent the next day.
(b) To draft written opinion, wherever required
(c) To prepare MIS for mail queries and written opinions to ensure timely revert to clients
(2) Litigation
(a) To handle GST, Pre-GST, Customs & FTP related communications/letters from Department including drafting and department liasoning
(b) To draft replies to Show Cause Notice (SCN) and appearing for personal hearings wherever required
(c) To draft appeals against O-I-O & O-I-A and appearing for personal hearings wherever required
(d) To maintain MIS for litigation and debtors follow-up for litigation billing
(3) Research
(a) To track recent updates in the field of Indirect Taxation including amendments, circulars, press release, announcements and circulate internally and with client wherever necessary
(b) To track indirect rulings on real time basis and circulate it with internal team and clients wherever necessary
(c) To adequately support Partners and Managers in research in any field (especially Indirect Taxes)
