Assistant Manager Finance (0-2 Years Experience)

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and analytical Assistant Manager Finance to support financial reporting, accounting operations, compliance, and process improvement initiatives. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to financial reporting under Ind AS, ERP systems, month-end close activities, taxation, and financial analysis while working closely with senior finance professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements in accordance with Ind AS, including supporting schedules and disclosures.
• Support consolidation activities, including reconciliation of inter-company transactions and related-party transaction reporting.
• Participate in financial reporting process improvement and automation initiatives.
• Assist in preparing deferred tax schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Support month-end and quarter-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Coordinate with internal teams during ERP implementation, testing, and process
• enhancement projects.
• Assist in maintaining internal controls and ensuring compliance with financial reporting requirements.
• Support tax compliance activities and coordinate with external consultants for tax-related matters.
• Assist in research and documentation of accounting and financial reporting issues under Ind AS.
• Prepare management reports, financial analyses, and MIS reports to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Tax, Operations, and IT.
• Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of accounting records and audit support schedules.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Education:

• CA Fresher, CPA, MBA (Finance

Technical Proficiency

• Basic understanding of Ind AS, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
• Exposure to accounting, taxation, and financial statement preparation.
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) is desirable.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis.
• Familiarity with financial reporting tools and automation concepts is an added advantage.
• Strong aptitude for learning accounting standards and finance processes.

EXPERIENCE

• 0–2 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Audit, Financial Reporting, or related areas. Freshers with relevant internships, article ship experience, or academic exposure to financial reporting and accounting standards are encouraged to apply. Experience with ERP systems, audit assignments, or financial analysis will be an added advantage.
