Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Drive Business Development and Sales for Smart Lighting solutions.
Develop business with Municipal Corporations, Smart City SPVs, PWD, Government Departments, EPC Contractors, and Infrastructure companies.
Identify upcoming Government tenders and infrastructure projects.
Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to order closure.
Prepare techno-commercial proposals and participate in tender submissions.
Conduct customer meetings, product presentations, and technical discussions.
Build and maintain strong customer and vendor relationships.
Coordinate with internal project teams for successful execution.
Achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth.

Preferred candidate profile

2-7 years of experience in Smart Lighting Sales, Business Development, or Government/Institutional Sales.
Proven experience in selling Smart Street Lighting, LED Street Lighting, IoT-based Lighting Solutions, CCMS, Smart Poles, or Solar Street Lighting.
Strong network with Municipal Corporations, Smart City SPVs, PWD, Government Departments, EPC Contractors, Consultants, and Infrastructure Companies.
Hands-on experience in Government tenders, bid management, and techno-commercial proposals.
Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and drive business growth in the Smart Lighting segment.
Excellent relationship management, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Experience in Smart City, Infrastructure, Public Lighting, or Energy Efficiency projects is preferred.
BE/B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
MBA in Marketing / Project Management
