Job Description
Role: Art Designer / Artist Mobile Games
Location : Mumbai 3 Days a week from the office
Reporting to: Art Director
Experience Required: 7+ Years of Experience
What do you need to do(Role and Responsibilities):
- Create (Source, produce, blend) relevant, highly optimised Backgrounds (BGs) and Props and Characters for our
- Work with the severe restrictions on the size of files (mobile games need to be as lean (less in MB) as possible to help rapid downloads.
- Work closely with the Product Manager, Creative team, and production Artists, constantly supplying them with Art, References and Artwork that meets their requirements.
- Play tons of competition mobile games.
- Stay informed about the latest advances in game art techniques and technology.
- To source and produce art, you must be well-informed about new regenerative Art (AI) tools, websites, etc., and have some experience using these tools. Example- We use Freepik extensively.
- You MUST have work experience with mobile games / mobile products.
- You should have an eye for perfection and a burning desire to improve every release!
Who could you be(Experience and Background):
- 7+ years of 2D Art design experience (As an Art Designer/Artist).
- You should be entirely in sync with the aesthetics of the Western world (USA/EU). Our games are made for those audiences and NOT for India. If you have only worked on Indian art, skip this job.
- You should be a self-starter and capable of managing team tasks and deliverables.
- You should be naturally curious and creative, able to explore new ideas and learn from external sources.
- An exceptional portfolio featuring art, aesthetics, design and creativity!
- Someone who LOVES mobile games!
Educational Qualification:
- Graduate from a reputed institute
- An Art / Design degree background would be preferred.
