Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and conduct interactive online Art and Craft sessions for students in Grades 1-8.
Teach various art techniques including sketching, painting, paper craft, clay modeling, origami, and digital art (as applicable).
Design age-appropriate projects that encourage creativity, self-expression, and artistic growth.
Demonstrate art techniques live and provide step-by-step guidance for students during online sessions.
Encourage the use of easily available materials at home for practical craft activities.
Evaluate students work, provide constructive feedback, and showcase their creations through online exhibitions or school events.
Integrate art with academic subjects or themes to support holistic learning.
Promote cultural appreciation through activities that explore traditional and modern art forms.
Maintain a positive, encouraging, and safe online learning environment.
Collaborate with academic and co-scholastic teams for interdisciplinary activities and school celebrations.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Education: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Fine Arts / Visual Arts / Applied Arts or equivalent.
Certification: Diploma or training in Art & Craft / Fine Arts / Education (preferred).
Experience: Minimum 1 year of teaching Art & Craft in schools (experience in online teaching preferred).
Technical Skills:

Proficiency in using online teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, MS Teams, etc.).
Ability to demonstrate art activities using a camera setup for online sessions.

Soft Skills:

Strong communication and presentation skills.
Creativity, patience, and ability to motivate students.
Passion for visual arts and artistic development.
Ability to adapt art lessons to virtual learning environments
