Job Title: Area Sales Manager B2B / Industrial Sales

Location: Mumbai

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead and grow B2B/industrial sales in the Mumbai region. The role focuses on driving sales of industrial products such as valves, pipes, and related flow-control solutions, managing key accounts, and expanding the dealer/distributor network.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets in the assigned territory.
Manage and grow relationships with B2B clients, industrial customers, EPC contractors, consultants, and OEMs.
Drive sales of industrial products including valves, pipes, fittings, and allied products.
Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
Appoint, manage, and support distributors/dealers to strengthen channel sales.
Conduct regular market visits, product presentations, and technical discussions with customers.
Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and MIS for management review.
Coordinate with internal teams (sales support, supply chain, finance) to ensure timely order execution and collections.
Monitor competitor activities and market trends to recommend strategic actions.

Required Experience & Skills

8–15 years of experience in B2B or industrial sales, preferably in valves, pipes, pumps, or related industrial products.
Strong exposure to Mumbai and Western India industrial markets.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Experience working with distributors, channel partners, and large industrial clients.
Good technical understanding of industrial products and applications.
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
