Application Security Consultant

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities :

Design and implement secure web applications using industry best practices, ensuring compliance with ISO standards.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing (VAST) to identify potential security risks and provide recommendations for remediation.
Collaborate with development teams to develop secure coding guidelines, policies, and procedures for web application development.
Provide expert guidance on application security architecture, including threat modeling, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.

Job Requirements :

9-15 years of experience in IT services & consulting with a focus on application security.
Certifications such as CEH, CISA, CISSP, OSCP or equivalent are required; additional certifications like VAPT are an asset.
Strong understanding of web application security principles and practices; ability to apply this knowledge in real-world scenarios.
