Role & responsibilities

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Analyst to join the Asset & Portfolio Management team . You will support the strategic, financial, and operational oversight of a diversified retail real estate portfolio comprising both operational shopping centers and development-phase assets. This role offers exposure across leasing strategy, financial modeling, investor reporting, capital planning, and asset-level business plan execution. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across the Investments, Leasing, Property Operations, Finance, and Development teams.

Position Details

• Assist in preparing and updating annual business plans, operating budgets, and quarterly performance reports for individual assets and the overall portfolio.
• Analyze asset-level performance versus underwriting and business plan metrics (e.g., NOI, IRR, equity multiple), identifying key drivers of variance.
• Support the creation of investor dashboards, asset review materials, and quarterly reporting packs, including gathering actuals from Finance and operational updates from cross-functional teams.
• Maintain and update financial models (Excel-based) that incorporate cash flows, leasing assumptions, capex projections, and sensitivities.
• Assist in coordinating internal and external valuation processes, including data room preparation, model calibration, and liaising with third-party valuers and audit teams.
• Track and summarize key portfolio KPIs across operational and development-phase assets.
• Conduct benchmarking analysis for leasing, re-tenanting, and repositioning strategies, including competitive set research.
• Support preparation of presentations and memos for internal investment committee and external partners.
• Help build and maintain internal databases and document repositories related to asset performance, leasing activity, and investor reporting.
• Contribute to special projects, including refinancing, dispositions, and new joint venture setups.

Required Skills:

• 2 to 5 years of experience in real estate investment, asset management, investment banking.
• Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Yardi Voyager or equivalent tools is a plus but not a requirement.
• Exposure to commercial real estate, with preference for experience working in retail and or mixed-use developments.
• High attention to detail, ability to multitask, and strong communication skills.
• Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and a willingness to work in a fast-paced, flat organizational environment.

Required Experience

Qualification:

MBA, CA or CFA Level 1 Overall Experience 2 to 5 years of experience in real estate investment, asset management, investment banking.

Essential Experience: 2 to 5 years
