Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Audit Support

• Perform intercompany reconciliation and ensure accuracy of balances.
• Provide required workings, supporting documents, and details during audits.
• Prepare and maintain Related Party Transaction (RPT) working files.
• Coordinate with auditors and internal stakeholders for timely closure of audit queries.

2. Accounts Payable

• Process vendor invoices accurately and within timelines.
• Manage vendor payments and maintain payment schedules.
• Follow up for advance settlements and ensure proper accounting treatment.
• Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies.

3. Bank Accounting & Reconciliation

• Pass bank accounting entries and prepare periodic bank reconciliations and identify unreconciled items

4. TDS & GST Compliance

• Prepare monthly TDS workings and ensure timely deductions/payment.
• Perform TDS expense reconciliations.
• Prepare and file monthly GST returns including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
• Maintain compliance records and support statutory audits.

5. Debit Note (DN) Invoicing

• Handle invoicing activities.
• Process and account for credit notes accurately.
• Coordinate with customers for payment follow-up and collections.
• Maintain invoicing records and ensure timely reporting.

6. MIS & Month-End Closing

• Pass monthly closure entries including prepaid expenses and provisions.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports and management schedules.
• Support monthly and annual financial closing activities.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Good knowledge of accounting principles and finance processes.
• Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/accounting software.
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (B.Com, M.Com,)
• Relevant experience in Accounts & Finance operations.
