Job Description
About the Role :
This role sits at the intersection of employee relations and engagement. On one side, you'll handle employee grievances and Code of Conduct matters end to end - from intake, as soon as a case is registered, through investigation to a clean and fair closure and reporting. On the other, you'll run the listening, recognition and culture levers that keep people connected as the company scales. It suits someone who is equally comfortable in a sensitive one-on-one conversation and in deep dive data insights out of survey data.
What you'll do :
Employee relations & investigations
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee grievances; listen, assess, and route or resolve them fairly and confidentially.
- Manage Code of Conduct (CoC) cases end to end - plan the approach and see each case through to closure.
- Conduct investigations: gather facts, interview relevant parties, review evidence, and reach well-reasoned findings.
- Write clear, factual investigation reports that document the process, findings and recommendations, and that hold up to scrutiny.
- Maintain accurate case records and track cases to timely closure.
- Advise managers on how to handle people issues in line with policy and good practice.
Employee listening & analysis
- Run employee listening across the lifecycle - engagement surveys, pulse checks, onboarding, 1-1s, FGDs and exit feedback.
- Design or refine survey instruments and manage the process end to end.
- Analyse the data, spot patterns and themes, and turn them into clear findings and recommendations for the business.
- Present insights to stakeholders in a way that drives action, not just reporting.
- Track agreed actions through to closure against a defined set of KPIs.
Rewards, recognition & culture
- Review the rewards framework - seek feedback, understand what is and isn't working today, and revamp it as needed so recognition becomes an organic, everyday habit.
- Run rewards and recognition programmes end to end, from nomination to award, and keep them fresh and credible.
- Support culture initiatives: values, connect forums, celebrations and other programmes that shape how the place feels to work in.
- Help embed culture and values into everyday moments across the employee lifecycle.
Communication & enablement
- Drive awareness of the CoC policy, run workshops for employees, and centrally track completion and closure of mandatory culture-related trainings.
- Design and run Values workshops for all employees - curate the content and deliver sessions so that it enhances the employee experience.
- Close the loop on employee feedback by turning survey insights into visible action and closing them through proper communication
What we're looking for
- 2- 4 years of HR experience, ideally with real exposure to employee relations and grievance handling.
- MBA in HR.
- Sound judgement and discretion - you will hold sensitive information and must stay fair and neutral.
- Strong investigation and reporting skills, with great attention to detail.
- Comfort with data - you can run a survey, analyse the results and draw out what matters.
- Good communication and stakeholder skills; you can hold a difficult conversation and also present to leaders.
- A genuine interest in, and hands-on experience with, engagement, recognition and culture.
