Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate, dedicated, and enthusiastic Shadow Teachers to support students with diverse learning needs in prestigious International Schools across Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Mumbai. The Shadow Teacher will work closely with students, classroom teachers, parents, and special educators to facilitate academic, social, and behavioral development within an inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one classroom support to assigned students.
• Assist students in following classroom instructions and routines.
• Facilitate academic engagement and participation in classroom activities.
• Support behavioral, social, emotional, and communication development.
• Implement individualized learning and behavioral strategies as guided by specialists.
• Collaborate with class teachers, special educators, therapists, and parents.
• Maintain daily progress records and observations.
• Encourage independence while ensuring student safety and well-being.
• Assist students during school activities, events, and transitions.

Eligibility Criteria

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Education, Child Development, Special Education, or related field.
• Freshers with relevant training are welcome to apply.

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma/Certification in Special Education, Inclusive Education, ABA, Child Psychology, or related areas.
• Prior experience as a Shadow Teacher, Special Educator, Learning Support Assistant, or Teaching Assistant is an advantage.

• Patience, empathy, and a child-centric approach.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Basic documentation and reporting skills.
• Understanding of inclusive education practices.
