Job Description Executive/Senior Executive Export Logistics
Department: Exports
Location: Chembur Corporate Office, Mumbai (Monday to Friday)
Reporting To: AVP Exports
CTC Budget: 9 12 LPA
Experience: 59 Years
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Export Logistics professional to manage end-to-end export logistics operations for a high-volume export business handling approximately 150200 containers per month. The ideal candidate should have exclusive experience in export logistics within manufacturing-oriented industries and possess strong coordination, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end export logistics operations and ensure timely execution of export shipments.
  • Maintain daily dispatch reports and shipment tracking using SAP and MS Excel.
  • Coordinate with Customs House Agents (CHA), freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transporters for smooth shipment execution.
  • Negotiate freight rates and monitor logistics costs.
  • Communicate vessel schedules (ETD/ETA) to customers on a daily basis.
  • Coordinate with factories to ensure shipment readiness and timely dispatch.
  • Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for international orders from planning through execution.
  • Liaise with third-party inspection agencies for inspection scheduling and compliance.
  • Arrange and coordinate issuance of Preferential Certificates under applicable Free Trade Agreements (FTA).
  • Ensure timely payment of local vendor charges, including FOB shipment-related expenses, and facilitate prompt issuance of Bills of Lading (BL).
  • Follow up with the documentation team to ensure timely submission of post-shipment documents.
  • Ensure compliance with export regulations and internal processes while maintaining high service standards.

Candidate Profile
Qualification

  • Graduate (Post Graduate qualification preferred).
  • Post Graduate qualification in Logistics/Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.

Experience

  • 59 years of exclusive experience in Export Logistics.
  • Experience should be from OEM, FMCG, Pharma, Manufacturing or similar industries.
  • Candidates from Shipping Lines or Freight Forwarding companies will not be considered.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Export Logistics operations.
  • Mandatory hands-on experience with SAP.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Experience in dealing with CHA, freight forwarders, shipping lines, transporters, and inspection agencies.
  • Knowledge of freight negotiation and export documentation.
  • Understanding of Preferential Certificates under FTA.
  • Excellent coordination, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple shipments and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
