Location - Mumbai
Key Responsibilities:
• Configure and manage backup solutions for regular data backups.
• Troubleshoot issues related to backup jobs and tape libraries.
• Test backup and recovery processes to ensure data integrity.
• Maintain documentation of backup procedures and recovery plans.
• Collaborate with IT teams on data protection initiatives.
• Monitor backup systems for performance and capacity.
• Implement security protocols for data backups.
Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in backup engineering within data centers.
• Strong knowledge of backup tools (e.g., Networker).
• Experience with tape libraries and data deduplication.
• Relevant certifications are a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
