Symbiosis School of Planning Architecture and Design is looking for Assistant Library in Charge to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey.

1. Loan library materials such as books and DVDs to patrons and collect the returned materials.
2. Catalog and maintain the library materials.
3. Handle loans between libraries.
4. Organize and reshelve returned items such as periodicals, books and DVDs.
5. Handle the registration of new library cardholders and issue library cards.
6. Teach people how to use the library resources.
7. Answer any questions from patrons.
8. Perform routine tasks such as answering phone calls and organizing files.
9. Use and maintain computer library database to help locate library materials.
10. Help plan and participate in special library events such as used book sales or other special programs
