Job Description
- Conduct EKG, phonocardiogram, echocardiogram, and stress tests using electronic equipment.
- Ensure cardiology patients are comfortable by answering any questions they have about the tests.
- Record test results and consult with the physician on duty to schedule follow-up tests.
- Assist physicians during non-evasive cardiological procedures by monitoring patients' heart rates and alerting them to any abnormal readings.
- Maintain cardiological equipment and supplies with daily cleanings and adjustments.
- Troubleshoot problems with cardiological equipment and report any malfunctions to superiors.
- Stay up-to-date with cardiological developments by attending conferences and participating in research projects.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or B.sc degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of cardiology and medical terminology.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with electronic equipment and software applications.
