Position Title: Engineer CAPEX Procurement (Formwork Systems & DG Sets)

Experience: 2–3 Years

Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech (Mechanical / Civil / Electrical Engineering)

Role Summary:

The Engineer – CAPEX Procurement will be responsible for end-to-end procurement of capital equipment with specific focus on conventional formwork systems and diesel generator (DG) sets. The role involves techno-commercial evaluation, vendor negotiations, coordination with projects, and timely procurement in line with cost, quality, and delivery objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

CAPEX Procurement:

• End-to-end CAPEX procurement for conventional formwork systems (steel / aluminium / timber-based)
• Procurement of DG sets, AMF panels, acoustic enclosures, and related accessories
• Preparation of RFQs/RFPs, BOQs, and techno-commercial comparison statements
• Cost benchmarking, negotiations, and supplier finalization

Technical & Commercial Evaluation:

• Understanding formwork specifications, load requirements, drawings, and usage cycles
• Evaluation of DG sets based on capacity, fuel efficiency, emission norms, and statutory compliance
• Lifecycle cost analysis including spares, AMC, maintenance, and redeployment

Vendor & OEM Management:

• Liaison with OEMs, fabricators, rental agencies, and authorized vendors
• Vendor evaluation based on technical capability, quality, delivery, and service support
• Vendor performance monitoring and development

Contracts & Compliance:

• Support PO issuance and contract finalization
• Ensure adherence to procurement policies and statutory requirements
• Documentation and audit support

Project Coordination & Reporting:

• Coordination with project, engineering, and electrical teams
• Tracking deliveries, inspection, commissioning, and handover
• CAPEX tracking, MIS reporting, and asset capitalization support

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Knowledge of conventional formwork systems and DG sets
• Exposure to CAPEX procurement and cost analysis
• Negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred)

Preferred Industry Background:

• EPC / Infrastructure / Construction companies
• Formwork system manufacturers or suppliers
• DG set OEMs or power equipment suppliers
• Project procurement environments
