Job Description
Role & responsibilities
Location- Dahisar
To manage and execute trade finance operations related to Letters of Credit (LCs), including commercial invoice preparation, LC applications, document preparation as per LC clauses (including Clause 46A & 47A), bank realization documentation, vendor LC discounting, and vendor payment arrangements through banks and non-banking financial institutions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution. 3. Key Responsibilities A. Letter of Credit Commercial Invoice & Document Preparation
- Prepare commercial invoices strictly in line with LC terms and conditions.
- Ensure invoice details (description, quantity, value, Incoterms, shipment details) match LC requirements.
- Coordinate with logistics, stores, and vendors to validate shipment and supply details.
- Prepare and compile LC-compliant document sets including invoices, packing lists, transport documents, and supporting certificates. B. LC Application for Purchase of Goods
- Prepare and submit Letter of Credit applications to banks for procurement of goods.
- Ensure LC terms align with purchase orders, contracts, and negotiated commercial terms.
- Coordinate with banks for issuance, amendments, and clarifications.
- Track LC issuance timelines and communicate with vendors regarding LC availability.
