Job Description

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress to ensure the quality of web applications.
• Collaborate with software developers, QA engineers, and product managers to understand application functionality and testing requirements.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Analyze test results, debug issues, and work closely with the development team to resolve problems.
• Participate in test planning and contribute to the creation of comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Continuously improve and expand the automated testing framework and test coverage.
• Document and report on test outcomes, providing clear and actionable feedback.
• Stay current with the latest industry trends and best practices in test automation and quality assurance.

• 1 to 3 years of experience in automated testing, with a focus on web applications.
• Hands-on experience with Cypress for end-to-end testing.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS).
• Understanding of version control systems, such as Git.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and processes (eg, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
• Experience with other test automation tools (eg, Selenium, WebDriverIO).
• Familiarity with BDD frameworks (eg, Cucumber) and Gherkin syntax.
• Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman or RestAssured.
• Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools (eg, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

• bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
