Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to design, develop, and optimize our enterprise data architecture. This role involves creating robust data models, ensuring data integrity and security, and enabling efficient data storage and retrieval to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Develop Data Architecture:
  
• Create conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Define database structures and data flow diagrams.
• Data Management & Governance:
  
• Establish data standards, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations.
• Collaboration:
  
• Work closely with IT, data engineers, and business stakeholders to align data solutions with organizational goals.
• Support data scientists and analysts with reliable data systems.
• Optimization & Maintenance:
  
• Audit and troubleshoot existing data systems for performance improvements.
• Implement backup and recovery strategies.
• Technology Evaluation:
  
• Research emerging data technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Proven experience in data modelling, database design, and data warehousing.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, ETL processes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) and data governance frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases and data lake architecture.
• Programming skills in Python, Java, or similar languages.
