Job Description

This position is directly responsible for establishing and driving the creative vision of a project. Designer will directly collaborate with business stakeholders, the project team and leads in the creation of user interface renderings and specifications. The person will be responsible for the execution and delivery of creative design deliverables. He/She will also act as a mentor and manage fellow team members and take up higher responsibilities as they come.

Education Background:

• Regular/Fulltime Bachelors or Masters Degree preferably in Human Computers Interaction or relevant background

Prerequisite

• 4 to 6 years or more of professional experience in the field of user experience
• Good analytical and communication skills

Technical Skills

• Experience with conceptual design and creative prototypes as well as tactical UI design and implementation
• A strong portfolio on enterprise applications, online websites and Mobiles apps across various domains
• Abreast with UX design best practices, trends and techniques
• Knowledge on various user research techniques, Design Evaluation and acquainted with Usability Testing
• Hands-on experience on Design for Hand-Held Devices, Responsive Web Design and Accessibility
• Ability to define Information Architecture & Sitemaps, personas, task-flows and task analysis
• Perform qualitative and quantitative evaluation reports on existing applications/sites across various domains
• Create vanilla interfaces and interaction layers using best practices to augment the user experience
• Hands-On Experience on wireframe tools such as PowerPoint, Visio etc. Experience in iRise, Axure is a plus
• Work collaboratively with client/project team to understand user/design requirements
• Define and evolve comprehensive UX design specifications
• Understands and can communicate effectively the user experience, methods and rationale
• Ability to articulate aesthetic and visual design principles would be strongly considered
• HFI Certification will be strongly considered a plus
