Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Selenium, Java, and Python to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for enterprise applications. The candidate will collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure high-quality software delivery through automation frameworks and continuous testing.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium with Java/Python .
Develop reusable, robust, and scalable test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing.
Collaborate with developers and QA teams to identify automation opportunities and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Debug test failures, analyze root causes, and ensure timely resolution of defects.
Execute automated test suites across multiple environments (Web, API, Mobile if applicable).
Generate and maintain test reports , track defects, and provide clear documentation.
Ensure automation best practices, code reviews, and framework enhancements.
Work in an Agile/Scrum environment and actively contribute to sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.

Required Skills

Strong programming skills in Java and Python .
Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and automation frameworks (TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, etc.).
Good understanding of automation framework design patterns (e.g., Page Object Model).
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven/Gradle).
Knowledge of API testing using RestAssured, Postman, or similar tools.
Familiarity with SQL/Databases for backend validation.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

Experience with cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., Sauce Labs, BrowserStack).
Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud deployments .
Experience in Agile/Scrum methodolog
