Job Description
Key Responsibilities
a) Operate and maintain boiler, compressor, water lines, steam lines, valves, and all related systems.
b) Ensure continuous and regular availability of input material/fuel for uninterrupted boiler operation.
c) Operate boilers at optimal efficiency to support plant requirements.
d) Monitor safety equipment, identify potential issues, and take corrective action including suspension of operations when necessary.
e) Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and adjustments to ensure continuous operation of mechanical systems.
f) Inspect steam lines across the plant and promptly arrest any leakage.
g) Conduct frequent inspection checks and regular maintenance on boilers, valves, gauges, piping, and related equipment.
h) Record daily gas readings, feed water tests, and other operational test results.
i) Maintain cleanliness and organization of boiler rooms, related facilities, and work areas.
j) Possess firefighting skills and remain prepared to respond to fire emergencies.
k) Stay updated on technological developments and recommend overhauls or upgrades as needed.
l) Keep current with applicable safety laws and regulations to ensure full compliance.
