Job Summary We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing video content for news stories, social media platforms, and other digital channels. This role requires creativity, technical expertise, and a passion for storytelling. Job Summary Edit and assemble raw footage into polished video content for news stories, social media, and YouTube channels. Enhance video quality through color correction, sound mixing, and adding visual effects. Collaborate with content writers, graphic designers, and project managers to produce compelling video content. Trim footage segments and create seamless transitions for smooth storytelling. Add captions, titles, and graphics to enhance video engagement. Ensure all video content aligns with brand guidelines and client expectations. Stay updated with the latest video editing trends and tools to maintain industry standards. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver within deadlines. Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Film Production, Multimedia, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and editing workflows. A portfolio showcasing previous video editing projects. Experience Requirement Minimum 1-2 years of experience in video editing or a related role. Experience creating video content for digital platforms, especially news or social media. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of motion graphics software like Adobe After Effects. Familiarity with sound design and audio editing tools. Understanding of news trends and audience preferences. Experience in creating short-form and long-form video content.
