Role & responsibilities Handle / generate leads Determine requirements of a client and advise them of possible options Booking end to end flight tickets, ground transport, meeting venues, leisure travel and other services Engaging in active negotiations and closing of orders from Individual and corporate clients Collect deposits and balances Use promotional techniques and prepare promotional materials to sell itinerary tour packages Handle unforeseen problems and complaints and determine eligibility for money returns Create and update electronic records of clients Maintain relationships with key persons Keep financial statements and documents Preferred candidate profile Proven working experience as a Travel Consultant Excellent knowledge of traveling software (computer reservations systems Proficiency in English; knowledge of Kannada and Hindi is an added advantage Well versed in various areas of travel (domestic/international, business/holidays, group/individual etc) Ability to present, persuade and communicate effectively Demonstrable ability to handle crisis
