Tech Support Engineer - Cloud PACS & Networking

Job Description

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Tech Support Engineer with solid networking and systems knowledge to provide technical support for our Cloud PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) platform used by hospitals, diagnostic centers, and radiologists across India and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for Cloud PACS, DICOM workflows, and radiology software integrations
Troubleshoot network connectivity issues affecting PACS access, image upload/download speeds, and system performance
Configure and maintain network infrastructure including VPNs, firewalls, routers, and switches at client sites and cloud environments
Manage system administration tasks: user accounts, access permissions, storage management, and server health monitoring
Coordinate with clients (hospitals/diagnostic centers) to resolve PACS-related technical issues promptly
Support DICOM device integration: CT scanners, MRI machines, X-ray systems, and modality worklists
Monitor cloud infrastructure uptime and assist in disaster recovery and backup procedures
Document technical issues, resolutions, and escalation processes in the ticketing system
Coordinate with software vendors and cloud service providers for issue escalation and resolution
Ensure data security and HIPAA/healthcare data compliance in all technical operations

Candidate Profile:

B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or Electronics; Diploma in Networking considered
1-3 years of experience in technical support, networking, or systems administration
Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, VLAN, firewall configuration) is essential
Familiarity with DICOM, PACS, HL7, or healthcare IT systems is a strong advantage
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is preferred
Good troubleshooting, documentation, and client communication skills
Ability to work in a 24x7 healthcare support environment
