Job Description

Job Summary :-

We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Store In charge to manage inventory, stock control, and purchase coordination at Chalukya Restaurant. The ideal candidate must have prior experience in a hospitality setup, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively in the local language.

Key Responsibilities:-

Oversee day-to-day store operations, including receiving, stocking, and issuing of materials.
Maintain accurate records of stock levels, consumption, and replenishment requirements.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and storage standards.
Monitor and control wastage, pilferage, and expiry of materials.
Coordinate with vendors and the purchase department for timely supply of goods.
Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly stock reports.
Support restaurant operations by ensuring timely availability of all required items.
Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.

Key Skills & Competencies :-

Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
Ability to read, write, and speak the local language kannada (mandatory).
Knowledge of inventory control and hospitality store management practices.
Basic computer skills (MS Excel/Inventory software preferred).
Integrity, reliability, and attention to detail.
Good communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications & Experience :-

Graduate / Diploma preferred (not mandatory if experienced).
Male Candidate (requirement specific).
1- 3 years of experience in store/inventory management within the hospitality/restaurant/hotel industry.
Preferred Bangalore candidates.
