Job Description

BR Designs is a leading brand of designer fine jewellery in India, The company has 3 retail outlets in Surat and designs and Manufactures their own jewellery. The company has won more than 35 awards nationally and internationally for their jewellery design. We are looking for passionate jewellery designers from good design schools to lead our jewellery design team for India and middle east market. The major responsibilities would be: Product direction meetings (Market Research / R and D) o Conduct research for the trends and market preferences in the market for all 3 brands of BR Designs Pvt. Ltd. o Interact with customers, marketing department and merchandiser to gain market understanding and to capture the trends in the market o Focus on innovation and creativity and balance it with core basics to get optimum results. o Create story boards / pictures and give briefs to sales and designers. o Get designs made / modified and accordingly make concept presentations o Present concepts / market trend reports in a timely manner to the customers and monitor its feedback regularly Product Development (Execution of Samples) o Responsible to create the monthly plan for samples project wise, category wise, product wise o Ensure that all Design creation is market and client relevant, creative, unique, practical, as per the price point requirements, as well as based on manufacturing and diamond guidelines. o Follow through on sample development from concept to approval within the stipulated time and action calendar, sample due dates. o Ensure all designs; coral designs, CAD (check elevation and shape), RPD, models and samples made are as per client needs and meet the quality standards set. o Ensure data is accurately entered by the Master team Client Interaction and Focus o Actively source for inputs from customer and marketing department for improvements in product designs o Meet yearly and monthly targets o Meet the required quality standards of service to the client accounts o Work closely and co- create with the customers as much as possible o Handle Customer grievances and turn them into opportunities for us to Wow the customers. Report / MIS o Create reports as per requirement of the seniors / management, including: Weekly work report Weekly target report Feedback report on goods shipped Behavioural Competencies Continuous Learning Achievement Orientation Accountability and Ownership Client Focus Team Work Execution Excellence Developing Team Members Relationship Management Qualification Graduate (Creative Design School) or Jewellery Designer/ bench Jeweller. - Masters in Marketing Management would be an added advantage Salary: Best in Industry DOJ: Immediate Time: 10.30 to 8.30 PM Upload your CV/ resume or any other relevant file.
