Senior Project Engineer

Job Description

Established in 1986, Sungov Engineering, a group involved in manufacturing engineered industrial equipment and systems, is looking for an enthusiastic, results-driven candidate to join our Order Management team (Projects Department) to execute the following representative functions: Upon receipt of contract, interact with sales & marketing/proposals team to understand project requirements, commitments & deliverables on both technical and commercial matters Act as single point of contact for the customer for all matters related to the assigned project order and non-project orders Generate project schedules based on contract requirements and ensure compliance with the schedule at each step of order execution Coordinate with cross-functional team personnel from Engineering (Design) and QA&C departments to facilitate timely transmittal of project document deliverables, facilitate customer approval/discussions as required Upon approval, coordinate with Purchase, Production, Engineering and QA&C as required to facilitate smooth execution Coordinate with sub-contractors as required to facilitate smooth execution Organize inspections as per approved documents coordinating with customer, customer appointed TPIs Follow up with customer for payment milestones Implement systems to monitor project schedule adherence in consolidation Conduct review meetings at department level to monitor order execution progress, avoid deviations/non-conformances Work towards achieving ZERO days project hold up due to any reason as well as committed delivery dates to customer Analyze & monitor cost of execution viz a viz proposal Be available 24x7 to answer customer queries, apprehensions The ideal candidate shall have the following credentials: Diploma or bachelors degree in mechanical engineering Five plus years of experience in handling project-based post order work for an industrial equipment manufacturing company manufacturing heat exchanger, static equipment, pressure vessels, process skids, valves, piping equipment, pumps, compressors, etc Ability to speak in Hindi and English fluently is a must A minimum understanding of all aspects of manufacturing from design to packaging Exposure in oil & gas standards of EIL, SHELL, MECON, etc is a big plus Strong communication skills, amiable customer handling skills
