Senior Manager- Sales & Marketing (Freight Forwarding)

Job Description

Minimum 10 years in Freight Forwarding, Customs Clearance, or related logistics business development

Key Responsibilities

Generate new business in freight forwarding and customs clearing.
Develop and maintain strong business relations with importers, exporters, and corporate clients.
Bring an active and usable client database with potential business opportunities.
Achieve sales and revenue targets independently.
Coordinate with CHA, shipping lines, transporters, and operations teams for smooth service execution.
Handle customer inquiries, quotations, rate negotiations, and commercial closures.
Expand the companys presence in sea freight, air freight, customs clearance, and allied logistics services.
Regularly visit clients for business generation, retention, and relationship strengthening.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of import and export documentation and procedures.

• Practical understanding of customs clearance processes, CHA coordination, and shipping line dealing.

• Good commercial knowledge of freight rates, local charges, and logistics costing.

• Existing and movable client base is mandatory.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Ability to work under target pressure and deliver measurable business growth
