Job Description

The HSE Sr Manager shall be responsible for implementation of HSE management system in Field/Solar Project.

Detailed responsibilities are as follows.

• Incident Management (Fire and Injury Incident)
• Ensure timely reporting, investigation and Root Cause Analysis of Injury Incident
• Identification of corrective and preventive actions to avoid reoccurrence of Incident and Incident prevention.
• Compliance to Quality Management System
• Develop the HSEF process and roll out in field.
• Tracking, Monitoring and Implementation HSE&F activities in accordance with laid out process.
• Ensuring HSE&F function fully complied to the ISO -45001 System.
• Training Management
• Develop Safety Training Module for Own and Contractor employee.
• Implementation of Training Plan as per Training Management Process
• Safety Audit Management
• Develop Safety Audit mechanism and conduct Safety Audit.
• Develop Process assurance for Solar Project and O&M Phase projects through two tier Audit mechanism.
• MIS
• Develop MIS structure & preparation of periodic reports.
• Create management presentations on HSE&F activities.
• General
• Plan / Budget for and ensure availability of adequate inventory of Safety /PPE / Fire protection equipment / accessories at all facilities.
• Implementation of HSEF guidelines / scope of work for Contractor of Field Operation
• Ensure Statutory compliances to applicable codes & standards/acts for Solar Projects
• Celebration of HSEF Promotional activities ie National Safety day & Road safety week and R&R Programs

Requirements:

Good proficiency in MS Office pack (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)

Soft skills Leadership, Team Building, Communication, Presentation, Reporting, Interpersonal Relationship Management, Conceptualization, Time Management, Prioritization, System Orientation, Conflict Management

• Graduate / Post Graduate Engineers in B.E. / B.Tech Electrical. + Diploma in Industrial Safety/National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH)
• Experience of 12 to 15 Years in HSEF Field preferably in the renewable energy sector / transmission / construction industry.

Strong understanding of solar industry standards and regulations.
