Job Description

As an ROV Pilot, your primary responsibility is to operate remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) in various underwater environments. You will be tasked with performing complex maneuvers, conducting inspections, and executing tasks as directed by project managers or clients. Your role will involve both technical proficiency in operating ROV systems and effective communication with the onshore team to ensure successful completion of missions. Key Responsibilities: ROV Operation: Operate ROV systems in accordance with project requirements, including maneuvering, navigation, and control of manipulator arms and other tools. Inspection and Maintenance: Conduct pre-dive checks, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting of ROV equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Data Collection: Utilize onboard cameras, sensors, and other equipment to collect high-quality data during underwater operations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information. Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with surface personnel, project managers, and other team members to relay operational status, report any issues, and coordinate tasks. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times, including compliance with industry regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment. Documentation: Record operational data, equipment status, and mission details accurately in logs and reports for analysis and future reference. Training and Development: Stay updated on advances in ROV technology and participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge related to ROV operations.
