Job Description

As a Proofreader, your primary responsibility is to review written content for errors in grammar, punctuation, spelling, syntax, and formatting You will ensure that documents are free from typographical mistakes and adhere to established style guidelines Working closely with writers, editors, and publishing professionals, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and accuracy of written materials across various industries and formats Responsibilities: Review written content, including articles, manuscripts, reports, marketing materials, and website copy, to identify and correct errors in grammar, punctuation, spelling, and syntax Verify consistency in style, formatting, and terminology throughout documents, adhering to specified style guides (eg, AP Stylebook, Chicago Manual of Style) Collaborate with writers, editors, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, deadlines, and quality standards Use proofreading marks and annotation tools to indicate corrections and suggestions for improvement Ensure clarity, coherence, and consistency in written communication, making revisions as needed to enhance readability and effectiveness Conduct fact-checking and cross-referencing of information to verify accuracy and credibility Maintain awareness of industry-specific terminology, trends, and conventions to provide informed feedback and suggestions Adhere to confidentiality agreements and privacy policies when handling sensitive or proprietary information Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients to address questions, concerns, and feedback regarding proofreading tasks Manage time efficiently to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks according to project urgency and importance Proof Reader Qualification- 10th, 12th, Graduation Min Experience-2 Years Key Skills:Ability to edit, proofread, and review academic Test Papers & Books (All Subjects) at a high speed and with high quality/precision ,
