We are looking for a Planning Engineer for a Mid-level role. The Planning Engineer is responsible for executing Oceanergy planning & programme support services on all assigned project teams. Job Responsibilities: Understanding project specifications and developing time schedules Observing existing processes and addressing deficiencies Monitoring and tracking project progress, and writing up reports Attending and scheduling meetings as required Delegating tasks and ensuring team members receive feedback Understand and meeting all contract requirements Ensuring all projects are completed on time and within budget Ensure optimal utilization of all common tools and processes Recommended appropriate improvements and ensure optimal quality of all projects schedules and evaluate reports Perform regular analysis of all schedule trends Addressing all planning requirements on assigned projects. Addressing all progress monitoring functions on assigned projects Contribute to the improvement of existing planning and progress monitoring systems Review of contractor programmes in accordance with the contract Provide assessment of Extension of Time claims Ensure all key issues are communicated effectively to REs / PM’s Review of vendor’s documents, drawings, datasheets, specifications and calculations. Knowledge and Skill set required for this role Essential Skills & Experience: Qualification: Degree in Engineering or similar. Preferred Experiences At least 5 years or more; relevant experience gained from an Offshore/Oil and Gas industry Experience multiple projects will be added advantage Skill Set: Experience with 3D modeling software. Proficiency in MS Office. Planning and project management skills. Strong multitasking abilities. A valid driver's license. Strong analytical, critical, and logical thinking skills. Ability to focus under pressure and meet deadlines
