Job Description

Role & responsibilities Vast experience of resolving vibration problems at site due to AIV, FIV, Surge, Water hammer & Mechanical Excitation. Engineering experience of using vibration/dynamic measurement equipment including transducers/analysers & associated software. Knowledge of damage mechanism and how to assess, prevent and determine mitigation measures specially fatigue related risks. Perform equipment vibrational analysis and performance assessments for rotating equipment like reciprocating compressor & pump, blower, turbine. Expertise of pulsation analysis, stress and noise measurement. Detail knowledge of Energy Institute Guidelines for Vibration. Prepare technical input for the proposals including deviations to ITB, wherever applicable. Prepare Job execution plan and Work Instructions / Standard drawings, based on ITB requirements. Estimate the man-hours for projects / proposal and other horizontal/Vertical work share. Carry out detailed risk assessment for projects, proposals and discuss with team leader for suitable counter measure. Allocate specific jobs to Assigned Engineers and monitor their progress regularly. Control project schedule, quality and budgeted MANHOUR. Interact with client / PMC to resolve key issues. Attend review meeting with client / PMC / Licensor for vibration related issue and prepare close out action reports. Monitor and adhere all technical requirements and deliverables as per ITB / contract. Review vendor data and drawings as well as specifications, calculations and all other technical documents to ensure conformity to the ITB requirements. Initiate Value Engineering solutions and implement in consultation with other disciplines and get approval from client / PMC. Education : B.E. / B. Tech (Mechanical) / M. Tech / PhD from reputed University / Institute Experience : 10-18 years experience in Oil & Gas / Refinery / Petrochemical Min. 2 years of site experience Served as LE for minimum two big projects.
