Job Summary

We are looking for skilled and patient-focused Optometrists to join a leading eye care hospital setup. The candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive eye examinations, assisting in diagnosis, performing refraction, handling ophthalmic diagnostic equipment, and supporting pre/post-operative patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct eye examinations including refraction, visual acuity, slit-lamp examination, tonometry, and fundus evaluation
• Diagnose refractive errors and anterior segment conditions
• Prescribe spectacles, contact lenses, and optical aids
• Perform pre-operative and post-operative assessments for LASIK, cataract, and retina procedures
• Operate ophthalmic diagnostic equipment such as OCT, keratometer, perimeter, auto-refractometer, and corneal topographer
• Support patient counselling regarding eye care, contact lens hygiene, and post-surgical instructions
• Maintain accurate EMR/HIS documentation
• Coordinate with ophthalmologists and clinical staff for patient care
• Participate in vision screening camps and outreach activities

Required Skills & Qualifications

• B.Optom (Bachelor of Optometry) from a recognized university/institution
• Valid registration with Telangana/AP Paramedical Board or equivalent state council preferred
• Experience in eye hospitals or ophthalmology setups
• Exposure to LASIK/Cataract workflows
• Knowledge of optical sales and lens recommendations
• Pediatric Optometry / Low Vision Rehabilitation exposure
• Valid Telangana/AP Paramedical Board Registration preferred
• Good communication skills in English and Telugu/Hindi
• Experience :04 years of experience in clinical optometry
• Freshers with strong internship or clinical exposure can also apply
• Knowledge of refraction, contact lens fitting, slit-lamp examination, and ophthalmic diagnostic equipment
• Good communication skills in English and Telugu/Hindi
