An online dispatch and logistics head is responsible for a variety of tasks, including: Managing logistics: Coordinating shipments and deliveries, and ensuring that logistics operations are efficient and accurate Managing staff: Recruiting, training, and managing staff resources Managing inventory: Managing warehouse inventory and keeping records Managing budgets: Monitoring and managing budgets Negotiating: Negotiating rates and contracts with carriers, and liaising with customers, suppliers, and freight forwarders Analyzing performance: Analyzing daily performance reports and developing plans for improvement Developing business: Developing new contracts, analyzing logistical problems, and producing solutions Understanding e-commerce: Understanding and working with e-commerce Understanding health and safety: Understanding and implementing health and safety procedures
